St. Patty's Day 2010

We took Brock and Rayna to their first parade on St. Patrick's Day. Brock talked about the alpacas for days to follow!
Brock also enjoyed the Irish dancers. Love the wig!

Rayna was a trouper but got tired of being in her car seat. We got to the parade a bit early and it was cooler than we expected so I didn't want to take her out of her seat. She did really well until the end.
Daddy and Brock enjoying the view.

Trip to the park

Oliver Fredrik Tourville

Britta and Matt, and the rest of us, welcome the newest addition to the family! Oliver came on 3-10-10 at 6:48 in the evening. He weighed 6 lbs 7 oz. Congratulations Britta and Matt.
We are so happy to finally meet this angel.

Skis

The other day Brock ran downstairs and started yelling, "I can't see". I came down right away and saw him laying on the floor looking at me. I asked him what was wrong. He said again, "I can't see". I said, "what do you mean you can't see?" He said, "NO...SKI".
I am a little late in posting this. The winter Olympics were going on at the time.
Brock asked what his shirt said and Josh said, "Pink Floyd".
Brock said, "Uncle Lloyd"?
Now he calls it his Uncle Lloyd shirt.
Brock and Brayden eating Nerds on the steps.
Josh was nominated as one of the best AV companies in the Twin Cities. We got all dressed up for the awards ceremony. He came in second place. We'll get it next year.
Congratulations Josh!
This is our neighbor's house, Jeanne and Jack. We were eating lunch one day and Brock said, "Look, a robot". I looked out the window where he was pointing and said, "where? I don't see a robot". He said, "Right there!" and pointed to the shadow.
Rayna's ballerina toes!
Brock and Rayna playing.

It's so fun to watch them play. They love each other so much!
Brock "made dinner" the other day. He was very proud of his work.

Gail Metz

Gail Metz was a classmate of mine from x-ray school. She was a coworker and she was my dear friend. She lost her battle to brain cancer in early January. This is the message she left me sometime after Christmas but before New Year's Day.
Gail was an amazing women and I think of her often.
I miss you Gail!

The other night after we ate dinner Josh and Brock had quite an interesting conversation.
Brock climbed up on my lap and asked Josh, "did you get a shot?" Josh said no.
He then asked, "did you get a hair cut?" Josh said, "nope."
He then asked him if he was going to go work with Mike (Josh's employee of his company). Josh said, "not tonight buddy."
Brock then asked, "are you going to eat soup?" We had just finished dinner and Josh said, "no, I just ate dinner."
Brock then said, "you going to go to the office?" And Josh once again said no.

We just both laughed at the string of questions that no connection to anything. Where did he come up with these questions? He says so many things that just amaze us and make us laugh every day. Today he decided to turn some legs to an activity table into skies. I have video of this but it's over a minute long. I'll try to upload it later.

Brock is amazing. He brings so much joy to our lives. I can't image life without him. I love you buddy!

My little slugger

Happy times with Elmo
This is not a very flattering picture of Rayna, but this is a very common expression of hers and I thought I should share it.

Rayna is really into the Johny Jump Up now and Brock loves to push and spin her.
She just laughs and laughs when he plays with her.
They as so sweet together.
Today he sat down next to her and said, "I love you Rayna". It just melted my heart!

Brock is quite the little athlete. He's usually a lefty but he swings like a righty.

Family Bath

Brock and Rayna took their first bath together. Check out Rayna's crazy hair.
It's so nice that she can sit up unassisted now.
Brock usually has to wait until after Rayna takes her bath, but tonight he said he wanted to take a bath "with" Rayna. So I thought, let's give it a try. They had a blast together.
They both have Josh's blue eyes but Rayna's eyes are electric.

February Snow

Well, we got more snow. Not as much as the east coast, but about another 7 inches.
Brock and Henry absolutely LOVE the snow.

Around the house

Rayna is 5 and 1/2 months old now. She just started sitting up on her own.
We've also started feeding her rice cereal. Here are a few pictures of this great adventure.

Here is Brock wearing Rayna's new tutu and matching head band.
Brock had a play date with Keira and they had a blast!

Our Trip to St. Louis

We went to St. Louis the week after Christmas and here are some photos to recap our trip.
