Today I learned how to drink from a sippy cup.

I also learned how to take apart my play mat. It was a good day!

On the move...

Well, I think we can officially say that Brock "CAN" crawl. He takes his time, but with the proper motivation, he moves forward on hands and knees, and sometimes stomach. Henry and his ball were the motivation Brock needed tonight! After I shot this video Brock turned himself around and begun pulling clean laundry onto the floor. What a helpful little boy I have!

I love to get dressed....and undressed! I just learned how to unfasten my diaper.

My cousin Brayden came over to hang out today. We only got two pictures together because I grabbed onto Brayden's hair right after this picture was taken.

Can you blame me...he has hair as soft as silk!

Happy 60th Birthday Grandpapa!

My mommy and daddy and aunts and uncles and Nana planned a surprise party for him. I didn't get to go because my bedtime is 7:30 and that's when the party started. It looks like everyone had a great time.

First Hair Cut.....

Henry got his first haircut of the season. He was so shaggy and shedding pretty badly.

Ahh, that's better. Nice and short and no more shedding! He always prances around for the first couple of days after his haircuts like he feels 10 pounds lighter. Brock doesn't like it as much because he can't grab onto the hair anymore.

What an awesome day!
I finally got to meet my cousin Brayden, face to face. He was really hungry.

I even got to touch him. He's really soft. Too bad my touches weren't :) I can't help it, I just figured out how to use these mitts a couple of months ago. I'll try to be a bit more gentle from now on.

After a tasty dinner Daddy and I took a little nap.

Yesterday was my daddy's birthday. Nana and Grandpapa came over to stay with me while mom and dad went out for dinner. We had a great time! Thanks Nana and Grandpapa.

My mom goes crazy taking pictures. This past weekend was one of those times. I try to smile when she pulls the camera out, but sometimes my other emotions have to come out instead. Here are some of my "other" emotions.....

This has been a big week for me. I learned to jump in my "Jump & Go" and to move backwards in my baby walker that Greatgrandma Haiser gave me.

Mom bought me this new hat. She said it brings out the blue in my eyes.

If Mom likes it, I guess I do too!

When will Brock crawl?

Here is a clip of Brock playing the "I wish I were a frog" game. He is so close to crawling but can't seem to get his arms and legs to work with each other. It's fun for Josh and me to watch him make progress. The push ups were the first step in this process. Then he started getting up on his knees. Then he would jump from a push up to his knees...and now this. Since Brock is our first child it's hard to know how many more steps there are before forward motion. We'll keep you updated.

Splish Splash

Uncle Lloyd celebrated a birthday and I went to his party. I gave him a picture of me and he gave me this singing duck! Thanks Uncle Lloyd...I love to dance while he sings. Henry doesn't know what to think about him yet. I hope you enjoy watching the video clip Mom took.

Weekend fun

I love the weekends. Spending time with Mom and Dad is my favorite thing in the world....that and my yellow blanket. Dad said I look a little like my cousin Jake in this picture.
