A hot summer day

It got up to 90 degrees today and our neighbor Pat invited us over to swim in her pool.

We had a great time!

Here we are getting ready to go on a walk with Henry and Lola. We were watching Lola for Frank and Veronica while they were in California running a race. I love it when Mommy and Daddy give me the leashes!

Slow and Steady

This is Brock's truck. It's a 3 in 1 truck. You can ride it, push it, or pull it. He enjoys walking behind it or having Mommy or Daddy push him around the house really fast. When he does it by himself he moves pretty slowly.

There's a monster in the house

Brock likes to make monster noises.

However, he's the sweetest little monster I've ever met.

Eating an apple

Mom was eating an apple and I thought it looked kind of good. I asked her if I could try to eat it and she let me. Those big bites were from Mommy.

Typical Tuesday

I played in the pool...

Then I played upstairs in the hallway...

My bubble popper

This is one of Brock's toys that we call the "bubble popper". He was very vocal tonight while playing with this toy. It was like he was yelling at the balls to come back to the popper. He even calls for "Dada" at one point. Josh has been in Vegas for a few days with some friends and Brock and I miss him lots. See you tomorrow Daddy.

Someone t.p.ed the bathroom

Brock LOVES to play with toilet paper. The bathroom door is usually shut for this very reason, but this morning it was open and Brock took the opportunity to have some fun.

Brock likes to sit on the landing of the steps and play with the boy in the mirror. Here he is playing with a puzzle.

Put the ring in the drum...

Here's a great game for you guys to try. You'll need a plastic ring and bowl or drum. Put the ring in the drum and shake it up until the ring falls out. Then put the ring back in and shake it up again. If the ring won't fall out with your average shake, throw the drum down and see if that works. This if really fun. Mom called it independent play or something like that.

My favorite car

This car is awesome. I pushed it all around the main floor....twice! Do you see this thing? It pops when the wheels turn!

(Brock truly did push this car around forever. I was in the t.v. room and all I heard was "pop pop pop pop pop..." He was cracking me up. Sometimes he gets the wheels sideways and then they don't pop and he gets mad.)

Go fetch!

Henry wanted to play fetch but I guess Brock doesn't understand how the game works. He did all the work.

Fun and sleep

Mommy and Daddy took me to the pool today and I fell asleep on the walk home.

Mom made me some fruit today. She mixed strawberries, blueberries and apricot. It was really tasty!

4th of July

Frank and Vero came over and helped Dad with the fence. They got it up now Henry and I won't leave the yard. Since we had to have a tree taken down we had a big gap in the fence that needed repair.

Happy 4th of July!

Today is the 4th of July! We were supposed to go over to Frank and Vero's for a BBQ but Mommy and Daddy were having trouble putting up a fence so they came to our house to help with the fence. I had corn and watermelon and pickles! (I didn't really eat the corn just played with the cob. I did eat some watermelon and sucked on a pickle).

Happy Anniversary Nana and Grandpapa!

Today is Nana and Grandpapa's 36th anniversary. Mom saw what my friend Lucy does on special days and thought she would give it a try. Daddy and Mommy made a sign and told me to hold it. That sounds much simpler that it really is. There's a lot of factors that contribute to a good picture and I just wasn't "feeling" it. This is the best we could do. There were many attempts, trust me. Love you guys!

Mommy went to go visit Brayden in the hospital yesterday and he was doing great. He was smiling and looking all over the place. The only tube left in him is his G-Tube (which is coming out tomorrow). I'm so proud of my cousin for being so brave!
